Our Fes Guided Tour starts by picking you up from your Hotel or Riad in Fez, then head towards The magnificent Royal Palace, to see its majestic gates and marvelous architecture. The Palace has 7 beautiful brass gates all with matching knockers, all covered with fabulous golden patterns, all surrounded by fabulous tile work, or zellij, and carved cedar wood.
Next, we will head towards El Mellah, the first Moroccan Jewish Quarter built in the 13th-century. The quarter is a marvelous place to discover the old Jewish history and culture, visiting the old Aben Danan Synagogue, and the old houses remain, with their open balconies looking onto the streets. The Mellah has also a huge square with the entertaining shows and Moroccan food sellers.
Next, our team will take you the beautiful Jnane Sbile Gardens, to relax, have some fresh air and admire the captivating centered Moroccan fountains, all made with the most majestic Moroccan blue Tiles. We will head next to The Batha Museum, which was once a summer Royal palace, that turned now to a fabulous museum with the most impressive Moroccan treasures.
After that, we will continue towards Bab Boujloud, the famous Blue Gate, the majestic entry of the Old Medina. The gate is beautifully decorated with fascinating Blue tiles and carved word that perfectly turns into green at the other side of the entry.
