What to Expect
Day 1: Fes – Ifrane – Midelt – Merzouga(Erg Chebbi)
Our memorable Fes Desert Tours starts by picking you up from your Hotel or Riad in Fes, then start crossing the marvelous views of the Middle Atlas Mountains.
Our First stop would be Ifrane, The Moroccan Little Switzerland, a little French city on the peaks of the Middle Atlas Mountains. Our team would take you around the lovely town to admire its sophisticated architecture and marvelous landscapes with flowing rivers all over the little city.
Next, we will continue to Azrou’s Cedar to have some fresh air and feed the tricky little monkeys. We will continue our Fes Sahara Tour to Midelt, a little Berber village linking between the cold Middle Atlas Mountains and the hot Sahara. We will enjoy a traditional Berber vegetable Tagine in a local restaurant, as you taste an irresistible Berber combination of fragrant spices and know more about the ancient Berber culture.
After that, we will continue to Merzouga, the gate of the Erg Chebbi Sahara, crossing Erfoud and the dramatic landscapes of Ziz Valley. Upon our arrival at the golden village, we would take our camels on the most sensational trek, enjoying the remarkable view of an endless Sahara and a magical sunset.
You will be spending the night in a cozy Desert camp, gathering around the campfire, listening to the exotic Gnawa music, and staring at the captivating night sky.
Day 2: Erg Chebbi (Camel Trekking) – Merzouga – Rissani– Midelt – Ifrane – Fez
On the last day of our Fes Desert Tour 2 Days, we will have an early wake up to get an exciting camel trekking experience in the golden dunes of a majestic Desert.
We will go back by camels to our Hotel in Merzouga, to have a tempting breakfast and a warm shower, then starting heading towards Rissani, the authentic Sahara Market, and the original home of the Moroccan ruling dynasty.
Next, we will pursue to a Berber village for lunch, then continue our journey through the cool forests of the Middle Atlas Mountains. We will cross Ifrane and Immouzer on our way back to Fes the old city.
Our Fes Desert Tours 2 Days ends by dropping you back again at your Hotel/Riad.
